okay christmas just ended,somehow the feel wasnt there for me today.

went to cityharvest in the morning,it was the same stuff but it was nice(:

went with bel, ate at bugis haha,terra was good(: first time out 1-1 with bel :D she didnt let me take a photo of her,but i got a pic of her carbonara anyway hahaha.just look at my fried noodles they are tomyam koka noodles i swear.my cam is dead so i gotta post another day haha.

went all the way to brasbasah Popular after that xD its big & nice though!

yep i was fooling around with the shuihuzhuan thingy hahaha they just didnt had the damn book lol & bel made me search hahaha horrible.

wanted to shop at bugis,but gave up after squeezing through the crowd to breathe.so i went & got stuck in the mrt damn i was so bored i actually finished a chapter of shuihuzhuan xD
some problem,the mrt staff didnt even bother to tell us what was wrong.

"This train will be stopping for a while.Sorry for the inconvenience."

yeah "a while" meant 10minutes at the Chinatown station with the doors closed & the aircon seemingly spoilt.
& another 10minutes at dhobyghaut.
& a 5minutes at potong pasir.
& 2minutes at the CLOSED STATION between potongpasir & serangoon.

oh sheesh it took me one whole hour to get from outram to sengkang.

yep & i reached hanwei's house(:
loved talking to issac,hanwei,pingz & my aunties :D havent been spending time with them in a long time...appreciated the gathering(: hope we get to go to our outing haha(:

it's been 11days of living with you guys(: ive come to know everyone better,& we've gone through quite a bit together.it may not be much,& we might not appear as close as the other village,but i'll never regret being with you guys,because i really enjoyed myself laughing,screaming & whatsoever with everyone(: we've had our share of fun,laughter,angst & boredom.but what makes it special is the fact that its OURS & no one elses.

doing the performance was a riot for me,& i felt really great especially during the stargazing night with all the waste time stories & jinfeng's 3 little pigs lolol.im proud of being with the dragonz,with the flowers,with you people.really hope we can all go together again in 2009.

we had a great time at school last night! :D

yep we were all kinda late as usual,haha & PRESIDENT,the star of the day,was early! AHHH SHUCKS lol i think i was panicking like mad lol,we bought satay,chickenwings,beehoon,carrot cake,candles & sparklers with our current limited budget hahaha.

yep & at around 7.30pm (actual planned time was 7pm ahhhh) we ran up changcheng lol whoa i ran up the stairs in one burst of energy haha.

& we headed for the fitness corner! :D
shanna was still fu-yannning president at the concourse haha while fang directed us to lie down on th ground in the words JIAJIE haha sweet his reaction was exactly like how the women discover their new look after Extreme Makeover.

woohoo we bought president heels & you shoulda seen him run in heels HAHAHA.we made him wear the heels the entire time xD
wymer wore a skirt!gerald almost wore one hahaha.poor wymer lah lolol he was getting chased everywhere.

yep we had a good time eating tgthr barefoot,except there was no tarp this time haha,but it was just like in obs yup.yay kangning's legs didnt break when i climbed up onto the swing haha,& we played with like less than half the amount of sparklers we used lol.shanna & i flung everything away onto the field hahaha while the rest cleaned off beehoon & foodstuff from the floor haha.

we talked alot as usual,then suddenly we had this idea of watching midnight movie lol it became the 9.55 show haha we RANNNNNN to the mrt station lol really.

we had Enterprise Day on Wednesday! :D
we sold lots of stuff,& we made like $410,which is double of what everyone earned,we pwn man :D yep everyone worked hard for this,& we're proud that everyone did something after all(:
wanted to go home & study for my chinese,but ended up spending the afternoon with georgina,leon,shiyi,bel,wanting,yile & zomg i cant remember.HAHA yep what a weird clique,but we started some big gossip-cum-catch the class thief session,& i just think that everyone'd be disappointed in whoever's the thief stealing money again & again.i suppose assumptions & suspicions just dont work all that well anyway.thieves=bad.

decided to stay home the next day,haha i cant believe i fell sick :x ohwell.

haha nonsensical as it may sound,i kinda like it. (:

somehow im very affected by the fact that my oral was the lowest in the class,even lower than the PRCs.ccp gave me a 26/40.just mentioning it kinda hurts,like something i cant get off my head.i mean,i was confident of at least a 30,& even then i wouldnt have been satisfied after the so called "smooth" oral i had with him that day.

im worried about the sec2s,them passing on the slack attitude that our level has,i cant imagine this kind of slack stuff in the cca again & again.honestly i think our batch has failed in many ways,& we need to improve on it.im going to make sure the sec2s bring about a better image next year.after all,why are we called a uniform group?given our discipline,we cant even play instruments.

the alumni is going to die if i dont revive it right now,but i dont even know where to start.we cant reach practically the whole sec3 level,not that i can blame them but i need help with my Exco.President is handling a bigger & better group of people,& he can do it so i have to be able to lead the alumni successfully.

finally,the day ive been waiting for :D

yup we had a great time,really miss everyone now(:

we went in at 11.30 & came out at like what,4? xD we camwhored as usual,trashed SeoulGarden,added 10 decibels to the noise level :P

my first time there,haha thank goodness i had meixuan t help me(: haha wymer was a great help! "just dump everything that looks nice onto your plate" xD i did that lah,& i think i ate 1kg of chicken charsiew xDDD

haha we gave damn expensive beads to tenghui & a pillow for chelsia :D veh cool we all thought shanna meg & gina camwhored in the toilet for half an hour lolol when they were actually getting stuff :D yup we rushed to sign the pillow & BKP is so in love :P

then megan fed me this pink coloured icecream & i said it tasted like durian mooncake+nuts but no one believed me except wymer & jiajie hahaha phew proves i have sensitive tastebuds alright(:

mmm we went to play Photohunt hahaha 14 crazy idiots(except kangning & leon who left for 2B after trying to persuade wymer to go along,in vain) jabbing their fingers against the screen & getting so near to getting high score ahhhhh~it was kinda funny,damn hot while we squashed ourselves together & played haha.then once in awhile you could see a blue hand squeeze in & jab the screen :P haha gerald i swear i'll draw that thing on your cast!

yup then we went to watch Balls of Fury xDDDDD

i think i laughed damn loud lol.

haha when we just gave our tickets to the usher & walked up the steps towards the cinema,fangying suddenly squatted outside the cinema,threw the tickets down & started shuffling them.

Fangying: ah lai ah lai ah put your bets people!muahahahahahahaha

xDDDD i cannot stand fangying she made me laugh nonstop for half an hour argh lol.yup we shuffled seats haha i was in the middle of fang & gina lol one side laugh damn loud,one side laugh damn funny xD great seat man lol!

ohyay MARCOPOLO went for breakfast,ohyay :D

might've been our last gathering before Seoul Garden + pool party + bbq,but we were really high & stuff,especially when it's shanna's birthday todayyyy :D fangying told us to hide while the prata man sang happy birthday to shanna when she walked past AHAHAHAHA & they bought her winnie the pooh ears & a cerisi cap in a forever 21 plastic bag.ironic eh HAHA xD

loads of people came late,including me hahaha.but the president was the latest! xD we gave him the Nazi salute & applauded for him lolol too bad lah he had to pay for all our drinks xD

we had choc-a-bloc cake xD SO NICE SO NICE but i ate a little cake + prata bomb(rocks i tell you,thanks gina for introducing ;D ) + ice milo & i was filled to the brim man.so full!

whoawhoawhoa we had another challenge:getting to school within 7 minutes.we chionged up the hill with 8 councillors' lives at stake & many leaders's lives too hahaha & we all wanted to puke & we told president to sack whoever dared to book us HAHAHA.

okay i was really inspired by jiajie's post, & despite the fatigue that im facing right now, im going to say my thankyous.

its been almost a week since we've come back from OBS.ive never missed something so much,never wanted so badly to return to where we shed loads of perspiration,got attacked by insects,where we went through so much.

it may just be 5 days,but these 5 days changed my perspective of life & the world.
& it wouldnt have been the best 5 days of my life if not for my watch,my team,my family of Marco Polos.

ZHUTING:

you are so tall lolol.thanks for being a great encourager,the loudest singer ever. [: an extremely fast learner,you made a great team with jiajie :D during the reflection sessions,i saw much of you & your thoughts on many things,immensely creative [: it was hilarious watching you guys pee out at night,made me laugh the whole night xD a busy but efficient leader, you make me look up to you in more ways than one. (:

MEIXUAN:

i didnt manage to talk to you much, but you got through to my heart all the same [: still the same face that i recognised back in p4,but now i know you better,as someone who remains utterly optimistic in the midst of problems,as someone who pushes everyone else on even if you're the only one left.you tried your best in kayaking, & everyone saw the effort you put into composing the song for us & making us listen to you :D you always manage to dig out extra battery,extra energy to cheer everyone on :D it would be greatly wrong to discount such a strong person like you [:

CHELSIA:

despite many problems you faced,you pressed on with the rest of us, & we did all we could to keep you away from being discouraged.you were homesick,but you stayed on with the rest of us & went through everything with us for the whole 5 days,all the way till kfc [: that was great endurance you showed,& thank you,for holding my hand throughout the nightwalk [:

GRACI:

extremely high throughout the entire 5 days,its been crazy,funny,& just pure madness with you around [: i never saw you giving in to fatigue or giving up even when we faced the worst of the worst,instead you went around cheering everyone on,carrying as many things as you could for us.& you definitely didnt show any signs of moodswinging even when 3 of us kena at the same time xD yo ah yo,graci,swing your way through people's lives with your many smiles :D

TENGHUI:

buddha!haha its all thanks to my rubbish that you got transformed into a buddha HAHA.must thank me alright :D & you did!right before you jumped [: was extremely touched,because i never expected any thankyous at all.it was really wonderful kayaking with you,a great great experience :D we are the 神 on water,we are the greatest partners,the fastest kayakers on earth :D you blessed everything throughout the 5 days,thanks for being a blessing yourself [:

SHANNA:

crazy woman,i dont know what to say to you ah,you girl guides really very crazy.i always see you doing lots of saikang,helping out the second you have free time.it was extremely challenging for you during the hike,but you persevered on,could see your pale face throughout & the negative thoughts coming out of your head.but nevermind,you did it in the end :D

VANESSA:

vc!we're always doing different things from each other lol.you cooking dinner,i pitching tent.you washing up,im cleaning the store.apart from the crazy kayaking,watching the giant "alligator" on the rocks,laughing like mad till i almost peed in the kayak-i must tell you,you are a lousy rescuer HAHAHA.thanks for washing everything for us at the cookhouse,i never did hear one single complaint or groan from you,& you supported the rest of us your own way :D

FANGYING:

you crazy woman everytime say i talk rubbish when i really am talking sense.honestly,you're always the one doing the saikang with shanna & i really want to thank you for that,because even when everyone was tired,you came out to do the work for us.you gave us confidence to move on,& thanks for the loud voice,perks us up every day,makes us laugh [:

MEGAN:

meganny sim!haha thanks to you i didnt stink throughout the 5 days [: must have used up loads of your soap!i know you were so tired during the hike,but we went on anyway,giving ourselves oreos as rewards :D thanks for doing the washing up,especially on the third night,when everyone already changed & were kinda reluctant to step into the puddle of water again.thanks for being so sweet & whiny,just the way you are [:

GINA:

i remember you saying that you havent done most of the things we did before,& you adapted really quickly to everything,& now you've really learned so many new things,& you're doing great as always [: thanks for all the washing up every single night,for following through with us while being alien to camping,kayaking etc. you've been a great motivation to everyone [:

LEON:

its really funny to see you perk up & become enthusiastic suddenly the minute i mention Jordin or Katharine McPhee :D it's a good thing,seeing you so tired & then suddenly so happy to talk about the top hits in USA :D it was nonstop laughing with you while kayaking,& singing "My Two Things" with you was extremely hilarious xD i never expected you to say thankyou to me before jumping into the sea,& it was really touching to see you telling me what i never noticed about myself [: thankyou leon,you're a great talker,as well as a great listener [:

WYMER:

yet another guy i didnt expect saying thankyou to me [: ROAD CHAMPION :D you kept us on the right track,its all thanks to you & jiajie we didnt get lost :D i remember i kept on going "wymer!i know you got nothing to do,help me with this,help me with that" but really lah you got nothing to do haha okayokay i felt like i was bullying you,& i was really hoping you wouldnt take it to heart la haha.but thanks to me you learnt how to tie a "CROSS HITCH KNOT" aka a clove hitch(even though you forgot how to tie it 3 minutes later) & you figured out the timber hitch all by yourself! :D next time we must join up for campcraft lessons,so that you guys will really end up building legendary bashas xD

KANGNING:

i always heard about you,but i finally got a chance to meet you during these 5 days [: ive known you to be a really blur person,who seems to make everyone laugh even with the smallest actions [: its been great waking up with your "morning call",& belaying with you [: you've always been the clock of the watch,giving us the time everytime we call you,without fail.& dont forget,gerald still owes us Soup of the Day from Pizza Hut xD

GERALD:

i remember we said if not for OBS our lives'd be going in totally different directions,never crossing whatsoever.that's why i gotta thank OBS :D because it'll be a waste not knowing someone like you [: honestly you looked the daodao scary type,but you are one talkative singing funny guy :D you spoke up alot during our reflection sessions,& that really showed me how much you think & reflect on the activities,& how great of a leader you are [: as i said,you are an extremely interesting friend who loves quarries just as much as i do xD

JIAJIE:

of all the times ive seen you,this is one of the only times i havent been looking up at you while you stand on stage [: ive really gotten to know you better through OBS,& you are a great great guy who never fails to entertain me even when i was tired & dying.i must say that council has never made a better choice than to elect you for president [: i cannot stress how much you impressed me,whether for your crapping skills or for your leadership :D you have really influenced me as how to be a good president,i have so much to learn from you :D

MOTHER THERESA:

the course wouldnt have gone on smoothly & on time without you,your emails & quotes everyday enlightened me as to how life should be.thank you theresa,Marco Polo is extremely grateful to you for everything you've done [:

it was the most touching moment in my life when we did the jetty jump,it really seemed as though you could finally say out how you felt,express yourself fully before jumping into the sea,& becoming a totally new person again when you came up.even though we were given 3 special people to thank,2 to apologize to,we all were thankful to each other for everything they had given to this course.

many people say that OBS is fun.
to me,the activities are simply things that ive done before.the biggest difference,is the people whom i do these things with.
it was Marco Polo whom id lived with for 5 days,& only the 16 of us will understand just how much we went through.it may not seem a lot,but we learnt so much within these 5 days,learnt to appreciate the breaking away from citylife,appreciating Mother Nature.honestly i was reluctant to switch on my phone,because it meant that i'd go back to reality,the place of technology(& zero stars) & stress.

give us some time,to slowly let our lives return to normal.this is something special to us.it may not seem much to you,but it means the world to us,to let us relive some moments in our 5 days together.

took the boat from punggol jetty to OBS Camp 2-where we dragonboated in Hillary..so far everyone whos been to OBS always comes back loving it,but it seemed quite boring at the moment actually.we got our teams done,& AHS consisted of 3 teams-Livingstone, Battuta & MARCO POLO :DDDDDDDDDDD

spent almost the whole day kayaking, kayaked from Camp 2 to Camp 1.
i got tenghui as my partner and DAMN we are 神 man HAHAHA we are freaking fast.

Camp 1 is NOTHING like Camp 2 man.it looks like the Chinese Gardens & its twice the size of Camp 2 & its prestigious haha because no field cooking at Camp 1 we get to eat cookhouse food omgomgomgomg its the best thing so far hahaha.

oh & we did a nightwalk through the forest,freaking long road that we walked alone damn haha.i was freaking frightened before my turn,but when i started i was actually quite calm,didnt really know what to be scared of anyway,just scared that id step on mud lol.cant believe i got through the nightwalk!haha yay :D

this is 色BIBI, the ultimate pervert who shone a torch into the girls' tent while they were changing, held wymer,& touched jiajie's butt :D

went climbing on the tripod & belayed alot haha.
GERALD OWES ME AND KANGNING SOUP OF THE DAY FROM PIZZA HUT BECAUSE HE INSISTED HE COULD DO A STUNT ON TOP & INSTEAD OF DOING ONE HE FELL DOWN HAHAHAHAHAHA
ah damn he cursed me & you know what im not going to show this too obviously but
i fell down twice ah damn thanks to him la & he makes me feel so fat now >.<

Sea Expedition!quite little distance covered actually,lol.the sea exp leaders were weiyang & 色BB from Clementi Town Sec,& Gerald & Jiajie :D
apparently this weiyang is a 2star in kayaking,so yep he took the lead.& i wasnt even paddling,& tenghui was just leisure paddling & we kept overtaking them omg they were so slow i couldnt stand it me & tenghui wanted to chiong all the way & they kept stopping.ARGH.lousy.but everyone led very well,lots of cheering :D
we reached the lousy campsite early despite leaving one hour late.
& we got the best reward of all man.

Land exp!we really were dying,covered about 14km-very little,but we were carrying bags of at least 15kg goodness our backs were breaking yet we pressed on.it was really challenging,but we did it in the end,with song after song :D we rock man :D there were loads of stars,& we had the perfect spot for pitching our tents.ate all we could for the last night,cooked 20 packets of mee haha,ate till we exploded man.

were supposed to go for a jetty jump,but we were all reluctant to go.theresa got mad & forced us to go :/ gerald was complaining like siao haha but everyone started to smile when theresa taught us the WAKEUP song haha because wymer was sleeping hahaha~
mm so we were doing the jetty jump,where we had to stand on the plank & say thankyou to 3 people,sorry to 2 people, & set a commitment.

yep i said thankyou to chelsia for holding my hand during the nightwalk,jiajie & gerald for being so quirky & interesting to talk to,& for being great leaders :D
& sorry to vc for not being able to talk to her much as we were doing diff stuff,& to wymer for bullying him hahaha.i shouldnt have said sorry HAHA.
mm my commitment was to lead my squad well,bring them to be the best they can :D

haha i went to the Swimming Carnival last Saturday with shiyi,jasper,xiangyang,liu & yeni :D we had a great time haha :D everyone was quite high! haha yep derek ho was damn nice to us,he paid for our lunch at BOTAK JONES with a stunning 152.40 bucks :D botak jones is a GREAT place with wonderful food that keeps you full for two whole days :D see liu about to puke there?haha we even played zhong jimima HAHA.

National Day was a blast, & shiyi described it in almost-perfect english,bringing some excitement out of the day HAHA :D

okay CIP was damn boring, vc & i spent it walking arnd in Suntec & doing nothing haha.
met up with shiyi, liu, vc, inggrid, wanting haha.lots of gossip over doujiangyoutiao in the morning!
aww damn i just got photos from liu.hate it when i dont have a cam phone.

mmm it was fun when we ended CIP haha.
went off t Suntec foodcourt t eat, yep i quote shiyi: exorbitant prices haha & we were watching the parade on tv & we got so excited that we gobbled up everything & ran off t Carrefour t stock up before celebrating.

2 Bacardis t share & chocolates & mineral water to wash it all down :D

then we realised we didnt have bottle openers HAHA.
but liu & shiyi managed t open it anyway :D

we walked towards the Esplanade in CityLink,but it was blocked,so we had t walk one longlong way to the Padang,where we discovered hundreds of people sitting down watching a large screen tv :D
so we settled down to watch the fireworks & we suddenly felt so patriotic & we all jumped up & started singing the anthem & shrieking out the pledge :D

& when it all ended,we just sat thr watching liu going crazy shouting "ziyun! shanna!" nonstop for like,half an hour aka eternity while waiting for them t arrive.
haha we formed ziyun & shanna's name on the field lol & i tell you,doing a "z" takes effort haha.i might as well have been doing yoga lol.
& we started taking lots of photos,pretending to be drunk(on 4.8%?HAHA) & going crazy.we were so high i tell you hahaha i didnt expect it coming.

jasper & shiyi stares as wenxin struggles into the classroom.

everyone's nervous.

at 1120hrs everyone jumps up & runs to the ncc store to get bagchecks done.

messy crap everywhere,

at 1315hrs everyones waving goodbye to everyone,scene looks as though we're wearing the Team Singapore shirt & going off to the SEA games.

Mr See, or Justin as he likes us to call him, brings us over to Changi Coast Adventure Centre.

a million schools are thr alr,& we sign on our particulars.feels as though we might die in the camp.

then we realise everybody's bags are twice our size.

i get frantic,not knowing what we forgot to bring.

Justin keeps telling us to relax,& gives us lots of useful tips.

bagcheck again,& waiwai looks nervously at me.

if sheena sees the birthday cake he's bought for her in his bag,it wont be a surprise anymore.

so i felt like going to the toilet suddenly,& brought her along [:

finally time to get on the bus :D

first stop: changi jetty-not surprising, considering hwachong alr publicised it.bumboats to pulau ubin! :D okay i thought we were gna go to ubin to kayak back to singapore,but i was wrong on that.

maybe walk around ubin awhile?not that either.

we were shocked to see vans waiting for us.

chunkit:wah so slack one ah.

yep we took the vans to OMG NPCC Camp Resilience!i was freaking shocked.

the environment was totally different,considering the different ccas there & the more relaxed feeling i got while i was there.last year was terrible.the scenery was great, but the people sucked & the instructors were unreasonable.during the hillary challenge,we could cut the field,sleep on the dining area benches,come out at night,lie on the campfire site & watch stars.it really brought out the beauty in Camp Resilience.

we had tentpitching, & the twine sucked haha.then we had this laksa cooking competition! we did okay i guess, fangying dumped the entire egg with the shell into the boiling water ahahaha it made the photographer stop with his mouth open ahahaha!

mr photographer: do you know how birdflu spread?

team k: eh through their shit!

mr photographer: & where does most shit collect?

team k: .....

mr photographer: yes, on the eggshells.

wenxin: eh we got wash the egg thoroughly, dont worry :D

like what the hell hahaha who would have washed the egg!

anyway mr banana came over to try our laksa,we broke an egg & it was so pretty sitting there like you know,the unbroken yolk in your normal bowl of noodles :D our towgay not very cooked actually ahaha but nevermind la. haha we were hoping mr banana would give some sign that it was good, but he was expressionless la hahaha.

then we had presentation at 1930hrs!

the topic was Outdoor Adventuring & its Advantages,& explain why Singaporeans should take up outdoor adventuring.

we were practising at the campfire site, & we got so high practising our skit ahahaha the photographer came to take our photo! :D haha he got fangying to be the model for tentpitching & we were wondering who the hell pitches a tent alone ahahaha, & so we ran over as well & he took us in the sunset jumping into the air :DDD i loved that photo [:

yep the presentation proved that every single team deserved to be there at Phase 2 that night.very creative & interesting :D we met the ex prime minister of New Zealand that night, shes a wonderful speaker, & very nice lady :D

okay everyone went to sleep & Team K went behind the campfire site to lie on the grass & watch the stars-chunkit's idea,isnt that romantic haha :D

mmm we enjoyed the night,& everyone was nice enough to leave waiwai & sheena there sleeping while we chatted till 11.55pm where we got the cake out,prepared everything & tried to wake waiwai up.

THE GUYS FREAKING UNPITCHED THEIR TENT AT 4AM IN THE MORNING HAHAHA & you know what was the funniest thing about it?

HWACHONG SAW THEM UNPITCHING & GOT KANCHIONG & STARTED UNPITCHING TOO AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

laugh until my jaw drop man.

we sat at th dining area & dozed for awhile,then we went for flag raising :D

quite cool, all the cca flags thr ^^

then we rotated through 6 activities from 7am to 1pm, one hour each.

Activity 1: Forming the Square

we were given this rope,4 bricks & 4 long pieces of wood.

we were supposed to prop the 4 pieces of wood on the bricks at the corners, form a square with the wood,& form another square outside using the rope, then when we were done we were supposed to jump in & sing the national anthem.

HAHAHA WE FORGOT THE LYRICS

Activity 2: Navigation

45minutes to run around Ubin searching for tags, we tried going uphill, but we couldnt bash thanks to stupid Safety Officer aka SO aka asshole Cheeman who was following us the three days.highest point there :x owell we made it back, & my shoe soles came off :/// was damn worried.

Activity 3: Dragonboating

haha Instructor Jason scared the hell outta me when he said we had to do a capsize drill, & i hated dragonboating straightaway & wanted to run away but then when i heard that dragonboat capsize drill= jumping outta the boat & climbing back up again, i loved dragonboating :D it was damn fun, & we were timed for one lap. 2.54mins! we tried again & we got 2.45mins :DDD

we were so wet & i suggested bathing outside the toilet using the hose hahaha & edmund started singing "I feel good tadadadaaaaa" ahahahaha

Activity 4: Low elements

okay quite silly haha we had to hold this cup of water & balance through everything lol sexy's pants got pulled off because he couldnt squeeze through the tight rope net xD but we all wore our trackpants over our fbts & shorts, so nth much la :D

Activity 5: Gunshooting/Maze

damn cool i didnt notice the giant gun before! we had to load tennis balls into this giant bigbig cannon, & we were supposed to aim at the holes in the net.edmund is so pro he can hold ten tennis balls in his arms at one time ahahaha xD

the maze was cool, 25 minutes & we were supposed to feel alphabets in the dark & figure out what they were.we couldnt tell la it was so difficult! haha omg & chunkit has night vision.damn scary hahaha we couldnt see anything & chunkit was like,

eh,i can see you all leh.

HAHA we freaked out & asked him to look at the alphabet blocks & he was like,

eh cannot see leh.

BOOO~~~ haha.

Activity 6: Rockclimbing

i didnt know rockclimbing was so tiring! i almost made it to the top, but i really didnt know which one to use & i was so exhausted i gave up :/// the guys all did it quite easily, haha xiquan was like whoosh, & nelson took one second ahaha.

yep & we headed back to the field & we realised we reached first & that the instructions for the next activity was to be handed out in a few more seconds ahahaha we grabbed the paper & ran off like in the Amazing Race,only without Yield & Detour & stuff like that.

we were supposed to head to the Spice Garden near the jetty & i was like, FINALLY CAN GO BACK TO SINGAPORE :DDDD

we ran to the spice garden & we were supposed to identify plants all over the place, & hwachong caught up! i was panicking can tsktsk.the stupid plants all looked the same lol.then we finished & i thought we could like go back, but we ran back to the jetty & we saw an army of bikes.

WTH no more singapore.

we biked to OBS & fangying fell down! :x haha she was still talking nonstop.edmund went offtrack lots of times but he insisted that he was better at cycling than me & he was wearing cycling gloves & he looked like some pro can,except when he ran into the grass a few times ahahaha.

we reached OBS first & darren,the New Zealand guy was like "WOOHOO~" & we were like

-_-" ............"WOOHOO!"

haha mm my shoes were giving way again,now that the sole was gone,the base of my shoes were falling off.i used duct tape hahaha.& we waited for 4 more teams before they threw us a big box.

we opened it & OMG new PDFs, new paddles! dragonboating WOOTS :D

we could see singapore across,very near actually but wth we went ROUND singapore instead.no resting,no break,just nonstop paddling.i was really about to give up,it was nonstop dragonboating for 2 hours straight,we were quite demoralised actually,but we managed to finish at Yishun in the end [: can you believe it? Ubin to Yishun!

mm we got off & we were given maps again & we had to navigate to Lower Seletar Reservoir. we were all so thankful walking didnt make use of arms.ours were hurting so badly & we had to carry our big heavy bags with stupid rations & pineapple & curry chicken & satay chicken.mm so again, from Yishun to Lower Seletar.we got back as the 3rd team,& we fell asleep damn early, by 9.30pm Team K was asleep [: actually the view was really very good,the sky was nice,except for that stupid golf course beside which kept its lights on 24/7,blocking the starlight.mm & maybe the stupid flies.millions of them.insect repellent didnt work on them.& crazy chunkit slept outside the tent.

a sleepy edmund is a crazy edmund.

a tired edmund is a funny edmund.

a dozing edmund is a non-existent edmund.

mm we woke at 5+ this time,to prepare for meeting at 6.45am.

i cant believe it was the last day alr, first activity.darren explained tht we had to tie two rafts tgthr & raft over to uh,i think it was near the satelite dishes thr,i have no idea where that is anyway.okay i think we rafted over to Yio Chu Kang.anyway it wasnt as far as dragonboating,but this time we really enjoyed it.we were given two spars to tie the kayaks together, & we barely managed to squeeze in.while we were tying the kayaks together,red ants kept on attacking us! :x i hate them alright,edmund was going crazy,waiwai & sexy & xiquan were slapping everywhere, & sheena kept screaming ah damn.

we launched, & it was damn muddy,& we pushed off,4 paddles only,so the rest of us used our hands.we went so fast we overtook around 3 rafts ahhhh :D & we were very motivated,maybe because AHS is known for being God On Water :DD i rolled my eyes at that at first,but wait & see :D

yes we were singing Kiss Goodbye ahaha & Edelweiss all the way.

0730hrs: Cheeman was there to greet us & we set off again,now to orienteering.110 checkpoints all over Singapore,we were supposed to pick our own checkpoints,as long as we reached the Botanic Gardens by 4pm.

we took all the landed property areas, Lentor View, Mediacorp, Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, Kheam Hock Gardens,Malcolm Park, Lornie Road, & we went to the water catchment area where we got mud all in our shoes, & we couldnt bash again, thanks to SO Cheeman, & we wasted half an hour thr :/ okay i roughly know where we went alr, ^^ okay we went from Yio Chu Kang to Ang Mo Kio, then Serangoon, then Toa Payoh, & then to the Botanic Gardens.

from Yishun to Bukit Timah.just look at the distance we covered within like,9 hours of walking nonstop.

lol i got more energetic as i walked,probably because i was numb anyway.

so we reached the Botanic Gardens, & we found out we had MORE navigation to do.45 minutes,find around 40 checkpoints.we were like super tired & our feet were bloated with water eeeeee.we kept on going,then the guy led us back to CCAB,where everyone was waiting for us,

& we had our last race together.

run 400m round the track,go to 5 checkpoints,take a pipe(with lots of holes) a small pail,a smiley face sponge ball, and a cap for the pipe.

i couldnt believe it i was leading for the first 200m but we needed to keep within the 50m range so i couldnt chiong.i heard the guys behind saying,

"eh zabor leh!!!!"

HAHAHA chunkit was demoralising everybody else by running backwards xD

yep & we were first,so we ran to take the stuff & basically we were supposed to cap the pipe,throw the ball in & fill the pipe with water to let the ball float up & then use chopsticks to put the ball smiley face up into the cup.

i stuck my toe in one of the holes,two fingers in two others.sexy had 6 fingers used up,edmund had 3,chunkit i couldnt see because i was all the way down below,& waiwai was kissing the pipe.

there was lots of screaming,lots of mini fountains when we didnt press on the holes properly, & when nelson had a loose finger everyone screamed at him,

"your finger! your finger!"

then he went

"which one! which one!"

then edmund went

"RING FINGER RING FINGER!"

then nelson went

"WHICH HAND WHICH HAND!"

we won.

& we won ahead by 20minutes to the second & the rest of the teams.

god on water.

we screamed & laughed & cheered & continued all the way to the changing rooms,where we cleaned up & wore the Hillary shirt,& proceeded to the hall for prize presentation.

Hwachong Team B got 3rd place, & we freaking screamed nonstop when we heard "Team K!" announced next.

WE GOT SECOND TO RAFFLES BY 200 POINTS

which wasnt alot,but THANK GOODNESS because none of us wanted to go to NZ anyway HAHAHA OMG WE REALLY DIDNT EXPECT IT WE THOUGHT WE'D AT LEAST BE IN TOP 5 BUT OMG AHHHHHHHHHHH

it was really fun teaching campcraft & learning more from chunkit,learning orienteering in a few minutes,& most of all,doing first aid with xiquan! ahahaha yay it was SO fun i tell you,i was wrapping sheena's arms,legs,head & it was hilarious i tell you.nelson looked like a pirate after his head was wrapped up xD & i know the SJAB motto alr!

mm & i was freaking out when i was 3minutes late on monday.eeeep~i kept reminding myself to be early & wham.owell.
& we were doing campcraft on the minivan all th way to Bukit Timah CCAB :D
& thr were so many schools!

eeeeeee then they said we had to swim first ahhhhh fangying was dying alr.she was screaming to the lifeguard,

hahaha owell turns out everyone couldnt really swim vv well either so yeah.

i tell you its the first time i saw a 4m pool.
haha halfway through when i saw the 2m go deeper to become 4m i choked HAHA.
mmm everyone did it in the end [: we were cheering for fangying & chunkit yay~hope we managed to touch the instructors :D
stupid & i wore waiwai's shirt by mistake :x haha size 38 is gigantic.

& we immediately went to do the 5km at the field,
they had these electronic number tags tht took your timing for 12rounds ahhhhh i thought i was about to die but i did it :DDDD
chunkit was like the wind hahaha he passed by me 2 times!yay the guys were super fast^^

mm then we went for first aid!
haha our instructor insisted he was 18 & gave us sympathy marks because we kept por-ing him :D yay!
hahaha we gave really funny & stupid answers for first aid,they had the first aid box stuffed with millions of things & we were supposed to pick out whatever we saw on our description.so we lined up to take the paper with the description on it & there was 20items,which meant 8 of us would each go about 2.5times haha i went 1 time & most of the other guys went 1 time too & xiquan went like,5 6 times HAHAHA.
then they had this scenario thingy & we were supposed to treat fangying,who has a spinal fracture.we wrapped her up & were supposed to pretend to comfort her but she was laughing & shouting "WHATEVER HAHAHA WHATEVER HAHAHA"

yay & we passed that with flying colours :D

yay we thanked 18-year-old uncle & we went off to orienteering!we did a really cool flagpole tgthr,almost did the Star of David until the thing couldnt balance, :// but then we passed that for sure!haha we saw the judges kicking our flagpole & swinging it around to see if it'll crumble into pieces or sth.

mm last part!orienteering:/// did damn badly,they dont add points for each question but rather minus for each one wrong.so basically i got negative.eeeeee i didnt even know what was a spur!AIYA must work on my orienteering:///

mmm all of us enjoyed it,went back to 85 to have lunch again,then headed to the library to brainstorm for the oral presentation.
anyway brainstorm meant "sleep".we were so tired we were falling asleep on the couch!
haha yep it was really fun,i really really really hope we get to go to the 3d2n camp tgthr, ^^

i hardly got to interact with people from other UGs,but after the Hillary Phase 1,i really love the spirit of UGs :DDD

heyyy haha photos are finally here im gna do a short post about Japan.
first take a look at their railway lines- haha so cool right,my orienteering sucks & you give me this.
hoho we got lost so many times!

mmm its damn expensive over there,clothes usually cost $100 and above,so i wasnt really able t shop much.

haha we slept on these kinda traditional mattresses,along with a 45 degree staircase that we climbed to get here hahaha.

yeah & they had giant crows flying around,& giant spiderwebs that looked like food wrap lolol.

mmm haha they're damn clean!their toiletbowls can wash your butt^^

& they had a statue of liberty there,a smaller one,for what i dont know haha but yeah there it was :D

there were two little guys thr with me,valour & valen :D they are so cute so cheeky hahaha & my dad said valour looked like baby xD

we were fighting to buy the bbq sotong & corn hahaha.i enjoyed one large cob of corn until my mom came & grabbed it & ate it up hahaha.stupid~

then my dad saw this reallyreally cute baby while we were waiting to take the ship to look around,& the baby climbed towards daddy to let him carry him haha omg so cute!he's called sogo :D yay he is SO CUTE omg AHHHHHH~ my dad kept going "konnichiwa sogo-san!"

somehow he managed t shoot me a Jiro Wang smile LOL i swear i saw Jiro when he turned around hahaha omg he's one head taller than me!!! :DDDD
anyway,for some weird reason,the whole group of them went into Esprit hahaha xDDD

we went back t Cineleisure t buy the 4.25pm tickets in the end, & found out we got separate tickets! full house already :x so we bought the separate tickets & decided t sit on the stairs hahaha.ey stairs not bad leh!
we ran into wanting pamela yeni georgina who were going t watch Spidey 3 haha.
& its 200 Pounds Beauty, not 2000 Pounds Beauty HAHAHA all of us got it wrong xD

i really have to argue about this.

macs is almost the only place students turn to to hold studying sessions,because places like the LIBRARY(this topic came out for oral & it screwed me up) chase students away when they want to study.whats the problem with hardworking students who want to find a quiet place to study?libraries are built for this cause,for students to study.so why are you people chasing us out? libraries are the best environment to study in, & they refuse to let us do so.

so we moved off t T1 viewing mall,i bought this really cute cupcake,pandan flavour while walking there :DD haha looks so goooood!

met up with isabel thr,shanna ziyun went t buy agedashi tofu nooooooooo~

it took us approximately 10 minutes to reach there,given the traffic lights and all.apparently the taxidriver told us if we walked,we could cut across bugis street & reach Sim Lim in about 5 minutes.

friday was initiation day! :D
we had loads of fun,

okay 3H offically hates June Yeo & loves huanglaoshi from 3K.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE^^

i was at Downtown East with sheena terry jiayi & i met loads of people haha~
we saw SOUL from 非常SuperBand haha-

its a good time to catch up with those we missed out on the entire year, whether paikia or guaikia(= mhmm meeting all these people again made me think of how different i am from them, yet how similar i am too.

the year 2006 has been a great year, with 21st January marking the start of a wonderfulwonderful year<3>chengjun has made me realise how wrong things were going, & i became a much better person after that(= ive put in effort to make him proud of me, just as i am proud of him(=

there have been many problems we encountered, & tried to make each other feel better after a failure each time.we gave the other a piece of hope, & made the other smile(=

there have also been so many sweet & happy times together, leaving us dreaming for more each time. the phone calls every single night have become a habit in our lives this year,with laughter & tears mixed in with so many other emotions.

i remember how scared i was when i told you that in 2007 we wouldnt be able to go out as much, with your o's & my cca stuff, as well as my sec3 studies. is this year going to be a different year from last year? most probably. but the one thing that'll never change is that i'll be there for you just like every other day(:

ytd was orientation day!
kay i went home the night before at 10,& i reached school the next morning at 6 hahaha.within a simple 8 hours im back in school slogging my ass off lol~

well the day went good,but our first performance was a little off,with me ending the first dance with a really soaked & dirty skirt=x
haha CCP came over & was like,
"good performance,& by the way ah,im changing the rules next year-skirts must at least touch the middle of the knee hor," (okay he freaking stared at me & the rest trying to bend down so our skirts would touch our knees lol~i looked like the Hunchback of Notre Dame hahaha~
kay second performance was great(: more enthu le hahaha.
mmhmm my first round of intro was better,cuz i went all out with the smiles & all,
& yeah i received lots of smiles in return(:

i mean,yeah its kinda common sense to watch Deathnote 2 with you after watching Deathnote 1 with you,but at the same time i dont want to end up watching it on my own on the last night either.when i heard how you said you were going to squeeze out time from your schedule,i could hear how stressed out you sounded,because the truth is there isnt enough time to squeeze out after all.
school's starting, & im preparing myself for a whole new round of not being able to see you,even in school.that's why our recess promise is so,so important to me right now,if you remember what it is.its the only time i'll be able to see you & maybe even talk to you,considering if our night phone calls eventually disappear.
i honestly dont want to lose the time i got to spend with you during these holidays, there was that period of time when we went out every day for like,6 consecutive days?it's really a dream come true.

hey im back from the mysterious,weird & quirky VIETNAM :DD
haha was it crazy.

well for a start the airport is surrounded by farms,so its just greengreengreen.
& cows are SO not black & white.
they are BROWNNNNNN~lol yes they are not those that kids see in pictures with the white cows & the black spots & all~ohwell why not.barneys purple anyway~

anyway,yeah the place's a mess.
thats the word to describe vietnam~a MESS.
there are practically NO traffic lights there,which means OT2,which also means Own Time Own Target,which also means sukasuka drive.
motorcycles outnumber cars by millions i tell you.the road is so cramped expressways' speed limit is 60km/h.
well basically if you wna cross the road,its chiong or get run over until you become part of the road.

kay 90% of the people thr dont wear specs,
like duh.
look at the greengreengreen all day,sure super good eyesight~
no computer,no tv,no anything to threaten the perfect eyesight(:
s-weet.

& there are absolutely NO shopping centres there.
imagine my shock~
hahaha.
yeah their idea of shopping is going to the minimart downstairs to buy groceries,only they dont have minimarts.
they live in super skinnyteenyweeny shophouses & sell the same thing throughout the entire row of shophouses.talk about variety.
well most sell fruits~

but the people thr are really quite nice,doesnt seem like there are any baddies there,none to qiao our $$$ either.veh honest(: yep.
but yeah there are financial difficulties there,definitely.
my favourite waitress thr earns 70 bucks a month.
think id die over there.
& its freezing over there,by the way.17degrees & i was wearing shorts that day.BLAH~

stuff is cheap too~
apparently the shopping centre i went to,which consists of a supermarket,a chocolate shop,a pillow shop & nothing else, sold one bar of chocolate for 5 cents~
basically the place was locked away from civilisation,except for the tvs which dont really show anything.
was i glad the hotels had SCV~
was just me & HBO(: & MTV too :D
i watched millions of movies & they were really great shows that i missed back then(:
goodness knows how many times i watched Welcome To The Black Parade.
but it was nice,gave me my current nick-

the world is so unbalanced,
i mean,with all the poverty & all.
yeah~
id never make it in Vietnam,& everyone thr tells me i look Vietnamese.haha lol.noway id survive thr.
i cant imagine waking up in the morning & just sitting there & staring into space.
ohwell anyway.
the food's perfect for people who want to have a healthy diet.
the only nice stuff thr are vegetables.
i didnt eat meat for like,6days lol.
the veggie's great.
& they dont have menus hahaha you eat what they serve(: cool right.
the rice is served last,& you gotta dump your rice in your soup before eating hahaha.
yeah & im surprised i havent seen anywhere else i wna stay more than Singapore(:

we had lots of fun(:
we couldnt find any food so we settled for BK, & i met ahpeh & his friends thr, LOL.
& we went to the kids' playground to splash around the fountain,blow bubbles & watch the kids jump & try to burst them(: we tried the seesaw,& slid down the slope on cardboard sheets(((:
kids are SWEET :D
& on the mrt we got squished like some tuna=x
& stink bomb went off inside=x
we saw jiayi & yanling!(:
& we wna check buona vista out :DD
now my legs hurt real bad. i cant move=/

we didnt even start shopping for one thing.just fooled around upstairs(:

okay i am back from the 2A chalet:D
it was a nice experience, although a little sian cuz we were like stuck in the middle of surburbia, not having any other 24-hour place or game centre within a radius of 1km=x
nevertheless, it was fun!(:
i got my first try at pool :DDD
& we went for karaoke!
i found out nelson ling sings high frequency(:
victor can sing really well,
fiona cant be heard on the mike,
& we have a theme song for the chalet!

we talked alot,
& laughed & laughed & laughed.

nelson ling's BBQ chicken wings are great haha(:

we suck at charades,
we're totally pros in sabo-ing people HAHAHA~
